Validation

What is the meaning of method validation?

Method validation is the process which ensures that an analytical method is suitable for the intended purpose. Only validated methods guarantee that correct and exact analytical findings leave the laboratory. Accidental hits and dressed up results are disparate with a validation.

Requirements for a validation?

Required for a validation are analysis instruments which have passed the instrument tests successfully. To obtain correct, exact and reproducible analytical findings the individual functions of a HPLC or GC apparatus have to be checked at regular intervals and if necessary newly adjusted.
